Edgebanded Slab Doors
Red Oak veneer plywood with red oak edgebanding. All wood veneer doors can be finished with clear water based urethane finish. Staining is an option, as well as boring and providing Blum hinges.
I now have a Hebrock automatic edgebander and normally machine radiused edges on all doors.
Melamine doors are another product option . The wrap on the core of melamine is vinyl, and these can be wrapped with vinyl edgebanding. I don't work with laminate wrapped doors currently.
